Sam Tripsas' episode of "American Pickers" airs on the History Channel at 9 p.m.
The show follows "pickers" Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz traveling across the U.S. in search of antiques to keep or resell.
Tripsas, 60, was just 10 years old when he began digging through dumps for new treasures, he told NorthJersey.com.
Among his most prized possessions are 1950s Coca-Cola machines, an old-school jukebox and two 1930s phone booths.
Tripsas said being on the show was an "experience of a lifetime."
